The food was decent, but I was disappointed with my $12 chicken ACP—where's the chicken? The guacamole salad was $6.50.

I ordered takeout and everything was delicious! The chicken enchiladas, chicken burritos, and fajita sausage queso dip were all fantastic. The beef burritos had a slightly strong garlic flavor, but they were still tasty. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. I will definitely be ordering from them again the next time we visit Surfside!

I was overcharged by $20 on my takeout order. I paid in cash, and I didn’t see the employee put the payment in the register. I also didn’t realize I was only picking up two dishes. To make matters worse, they didn’t include any tortilla shells with the fajitas. I won't be returning; I feel like I was ripped off.

We were warmly greeted by the host and promptly seated. Our waiter was friendly and patient while we took a moment to decide what to order. The menu offered a fantastic variety of steak, chicken, shrimp, and vegetarian options, along with a solid drink selection. Notably, half of the drink menu was dedicated to tequila shots. My mom chose the pick two option, opting for a chicken enchilada and a chicken taco, while I went for a similar choice with a cheese enchilada and a chicken taco. While we waited for our meals, we snacked on tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa was a bit on the bland side but still tasty, and I appreciated that the chips were light and crispy. When our food arrived, we dug in right away. However, we quickly noticed that the dishes lacked the distinct spice and flavor we were hoping for. While the food was decent, it felt quite plain, far from what we expected from a Mexican restaurant. It was so lacking in flavor that we ended up ordering tomatoes, onions, and cilantro to add some zest to our meals. I might consider giving Los Cabos another try in the future, but if I do, I’ll definitely bring my own spices along.

Overall, I had a great experience with the food and atmosphere. The service started off a bit slow, and it took some time before we even received water at our table. However, the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. My only complaint is that the portion sizes were a bit smaller than expected for the prices, particularly with the dips, which were smaller than those at most other restaurants. Despite this, I would definitely eat here again!
