Remington Restaurant - Muswellbrook

Absolutely beautiful food, service is wounderful. Can't recommend them enough. Have been here numerous times and have never had a bad meal or service yet.

During a road trip with my daughter, we stayed at the Remington Hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful, but the real highlight was the restaurant. Located in Muswellbrook, it was a hidden gem. The food was delicious, especially when paired with local Hunter Valley wines. The service was excellent as well. I would highly recommend spending a night here and enjoying a delicious meal.

Yummy waffles and bacon and eggs were our breakfast and we both enjoyed. Good capachino too! We would have had dinner there, closed on Sundays.

Stay 3 nights at Remington and decided to eat in the in-house restaurant. I had 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts and two lunches. Supper: The first meal was the Eye fillet Main and Scallops entre. The duck was over boiled and gummy.... The eye fillet should be medium rare, but was well done. The Shiraz I had was taking $16 a glass and terrible Given the time to prepare meals and bring it out, I didn't comment because I didn't want to wait for the possible recook. The second time, room service Ordnete was the duck. This was a spirit bleeding experience where it was clearly frozen, frozen and restored OR already cooked and reheated in a customs of its life. So hard I couldn't eat it. How to make a comment on a room service meal? Breakfast: Breakfast Bruschetta (in this case it was pumpkin, fattya, dukkha and two posing eggs). Usually a broschetta is made with Ciabatta bread, but this was on a black muffin. Large cut grilled pumpkin. The bacon pieces were carburized and the taste of the meal was everywhere. It felt and looked like handcrafted food with hit and miss flavors. The restaurant could be much better with some simple tweeks and attention. I stayed here for 3 nights and canceled my booking for the last night, as I did not confident in what I could get. While what was presented was reasonable, for the price I would expect more attention to detail.
