I just strolled through town for lunch and had the Fried Flounder and House Fries. I did some online research for fried flounder, but was met with a list of seafood and fish restaurants that didn’t offer it. After reading reviews and looking at various places, I decided to try The Fish Hut. At first, I thought the prices seemed a bit high based on the photos of the food and what was included in the combos. When I ordered the 4-piece fish combo ($8.99) and a fish taco, I expected the fish fillets to be about the same size as what I had seen at other restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised! The fish fillets in the combo were quite generous and absolutely delicious! I started with the fish taco—which I had never tried before—and it was amazing. Then I dove into the 4-piece fish combo that came with pan-fried potatoes and hush puppies. The fish was fantastic! The pan-fried potatoes were similar to pommes frites (they just needed a bit of onion) and were also delicious! I’m so glad I chose to visit The Fish Hut! From the 4 pieces of fish, the pan-fried potatoes, and the hush puppies, I only managed to eat 2 bites of potatoes, 1 fish fillet, and a hush puppy. The next time I’m in Muskogee, OK, I will definitely return to The Fish Hut!
