Lynnhurst Family Resort - Murray

This venue was perfect for our family gathering of 25 people, ranging from 7 weeks to 74 years old! The surroundings were beautiful, and the owners and staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the windows that overlooked the lake, as well as the convenience of the nearby playground, pool, and marina. The option to rent a pontoon was a nice touch, and we appreciated the fireplace next to the family retreat units. The large dining tables provided ample seating, which was great for our group. My only suggestion would be to consider queen beds instead of double rooms—yes, I may be a bit spoiled!

My husband and I rented a pontoon for the day and had a fantastic time. The lake was enormous, and we spotted a lot of wildlife along the shores. Nick was extremely helpful, and we felt great about our rental experience. We'll definitely be recommending this place to our family and friends!

I had a disappointing experience with the pontoon rental. The boat was in poor condition, infested with ants, and lacking basic features like lights, a horn, and a gas gauge. The exposed wiring looked unsafe, and although it had a slide, there was no water pump to use it properly. The rental fee was quite high, and I realized later that we could have saved over $100 by going elsewhere, but we had made a reservation by phone. While the first staff members I spoke to were friendly, the last representative was rude and dismissive. I would not recommend this place for pontoon rentals. Came down to see daughter and friends in college. Rented one of the motel rooms and a slip on the water. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The food at the restaurant was excellent. While we went ahead and rented again for another weekend and will definitely be back in the future. Covers friends and family!!

Great place, secluded and staff goes above and beyond for you. Now I don't like swimming in lakes so my review doesn't include the lake swimming. Pool was clean and nice, they have a little restaurant with great food. My one biggest complaint is the rooms, they are dirty, odly put together and it feels like your staying in a room filled with garage sale items. We had mice in out room, now I understand that mice are just a part of living that close to nature and what not however there are things that can be done to prevent this. I would go back and probably am going to go back however every time I go back I'm hoping the rooms just get nicer.
