Shoebooties Cafe - Murphy

My family is staying at a cabin near here and we randomly picked this place from Google. The food was pretty good. The server gave us her opinions on what was best and she didn’t steer us wrong. The band band shrimp appetizer was so good, the shrimp was crispy. The shrimp and grits was delicious too and it was a huge portion, I could probably make three meals out of it. Courtney was our server and she was the highlight of the night. She was so funny, personable and attentive. We really enjoyed her!

I have been a fan of this restaurant for quite a while, especially because of their famous cheeseburgers. Last Friday, I was really impressed with how amazing the burger was, and I couldn't stop bragging about it to everyone. However, we went back yesterday to back up my claims, and it was a complete disaster. While the service was good, we ordered our cheeseburgers medium-rare and had to wait 45 minutes to receive them. When they finally arrived, the burgers were nearly burnt and extremely dry. Despite that, we tried to eat them anyway. Unfortunately, we have decided to remove this restaurant from our list. What a shame!

The female bartender upstairs is awesome. Perfect cocktails. Perfect service. 10/10

Fantastic restaurant! The all-you-can-eat crab legs on Thursdays were amazing!

Three of us ordered the prime rib sandwich/sub, and it was incredibly greasy—so much so that we all ended up with upset stomachs before leaving the restaurant. Our waitress was quite young and seemed to lack training; when we ordered drinks, she struggled to understand what we were asking for. Three of us ordered Bacardi and Coke, while the other ordered a Bahama Mama—pretty standard orders. The only positive aspect of our visit was the new sushi, which was fantastic!
