The Dogpatch - Munising

We did the Pictured Rocks tour and passed this little spot on our way back out of town. Looked fun so we stopped in. Having to use the restroom so bad. We opened the door to and extremely narrow hallway had to wait for everyone to exit. Ok that was weird. We got to the wait to be seated sign, stood there about 5 minutes and no one greeted us. I figured while we were just standing there I might as well use the restroom as i was awkwardly standing in front of it already as I opened the bathroom door I was met with a aweful oder and the bathroom looked as if was hit by a hurricane, it was dirty enough for me to not wanna use it. I than told my husband we were leaving the bathroom was aweful, he was ok with it as he replied that no one had even greeted him yet anyway.

Our waitress Melissa was Amazing. She had a great smile and took great care of us . Our Rib Eye was so tender and favorable. Our 2nd visit here and we certainly will stop by again when we visit again.

Busy weekend, bit of a wait for 6, but to be expected for Saturday night, labor day, no reservations. servers were great and did not have to wait long for our food!

We ate here our first night in Munising. I don't know if the AC was broken or not turned on but it was so hot inside. A couple next to us also commented on the heat and said it was too hot for the baby they had. We also left quickly because it was uncomfortable. The food was descent. Our server was friendly and did a good job, but she said there was a full bar and there wasn't. The aesthetic was cool with old cartoons. Likely a good spot when it's not hot.

Our waitress was super friendly and was very attentive. She did great. Food...average at best. Whitefish basket was OK. Not the best in town.Chicken sandwich also very average. Made us wait to be seated in the dumbest part of the restaurant. Right where staff had to keep walking through with food and/or dirty plates and made everyone keep moving out of the way.....
