Vera Mae's Bistro - Muncie

The new Vera Mae's is starting to find its stride. We love the live jazz on Friday nights and the food is consistently delicious. Although the Sweet Potato Thai Curry was spicier than expected, it was still very tasty.

I really enjoyed the new menu and the cool remodel. Looking forward to coming back soon.

We made our reservation online, searching for the best fine dining restaurant in Muncie, and Vera Mae was our top choice. The host and wait staff welcomed our party of four warmly. The ambience was fantastic! Our waitress was friendly and well-informed about the menu. We placed our order and the food was exceptional! Each dish was expertly plated and looked very appetizing. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their dinner and dessert. Thank you for a delightful dining experience once again.

Nice place, great service, good food. A little pricey, but I'd go back to try more dishes before I rate whether it was worth the price. I got the cod, which was pretty good and the brie appetizer was the best.

I was glad to hear that they don’t use Monosodium glutamate (msg). The steaks were very good, especially with herbs Mushrooms. Gluten free beer would have been a nice addition.
