Malhar Machi - Mulshi

It is a resort restaurant.A good lake view place to have food. The ambience is casual and laid back.The food was delicious. The service was slow. Clean washrooms and washbasins were available. Digital payment was accepted. Parking space was available on weekday. Electric cycles on rent available inside. Reducing 1 star for slow service.

Peaceful, decent food (although most of the items in the menu card were not available). The washrooms were clean and no one breath s down your neck to vacate the seats! The water front view is great, the service fairly efficient. I personally found the reviews over rated! It's a good green place on the tamhini ghat road overseeing the backwaters.

This place is a beauty when you visit in Monsoon and winter season. Summer season it's too hot here but being near to backwater of Mulshi Dam, you feel very calm here. Great place for family outing for week end. Costlier bit but food quality is good. I won't say great considering price point.

We spent a very pleasant and enjoyable long weekend at Basho.The highlight of the resort is the responsive and attentive staff and the non commercialized generous attitude of the entire team.The view from the lakeside cottages is beautiful and is bound to be even more lovely in and just after monsoons.The cottages themselves are spacious and can easily accomodate 3, even 4 guests,if you don't mind sharing one bathroom.They are clean too and tastefully done.The food is decent as well. It is a pet friendly resort which is a nice thing but it was a negative for us as there was an aggressive extremely large breed dog next door to us and the swimming pool,which the owner was struggling to control at times, especially around the pool area. Would suggest that guests with such aggressive dogs be given a cottage at the far end and be discouraged from loitering with the dog near the pool and other public areas so that people are not fearful walking around and using the pool,especially toddlers and young kids.It marred our otherwise very nice stay at this resort.
