Bidra med feedbackWe found Magos while riding our bikes through town (not advised--just walk! . Genuinely friendly and accomodating staff! Suggest mini fruit tortes or cinnamon rolls and coffee every morning! In the afternoon or evening, have a HUGE scoop or two of their house made ice cream. My fav--pina colada on top of mango! We are from Colorado, and were visiting our sister Jaydene. We will go again and Mago's will be a first stop.
Great food and amazing coffee great people I was happy with the service even thought I don't speak Spanish at all
First: I love Mexico!!! Baja is amazing, the people are impossibly wonderful and I couldn't ask for a more hospitable adventure than Magos. Really nice people, not so good espresso, and the pastries are ...well ...not so good. I did like the cheese cake/pie. We sampled many of the treats... Cookies, cake, brownies, pies... But the only item worth returning for (other than the friendly service) was the the Quesso Pie (cheese cake).
I made it an afternoon drive from Loreto to try the cake. I am sure you will enjoy it. I suggest that when you are driving up or down the peninsula, stop at Magistrate for the great dulce de leche cake. You will be glad you did.
I can't say enough good things about their Jalapeno bread. You can sit down and get served, they have great food, you can even get a beer,
