Northbound Coffee Roasters - Mt Shasta

I first discovered Northbound at a café in Dunsmuir several years ago, and I've been a huge fan ever since. Keith and Jen are incredibly friendly and always helpful with my orders to the Bay Area. It's really that good!

In my opinion, this is a fantastic spot for roasting coffee beans. They have small batches that are easy to appreciate. It's conveniently located for drivers on Highway 5, making it a perfect pit stop. I've visited Shasta several times, and I find their prices for roasted coffee beans to be quite reasonable. Overall, it's a place I return to often.

Their coffee is exceptional, with a wonderfully mild flavor. It's even better than Folgers, which I really enjoy. It's a bit pricier, but definitely worth it.

During my first visit to Mount Shasta, I decided to take home two bags of coffee beans to try. The American Beauty was absolutely delightful and unforgettable when brewed as an oat latte at home. I highly recommend it for all espresso enthusiasts!

We attempted to visit this place to meet the makers, but the snow was really deep. Fortunately, we arrived just in time for their break. What a bummer!
