Ichiban Japanese - Mount Pleasant

We love this place and the owners Song and Larry. We have eaten here since 1996 and are so sad that the rents in Mt. Pleasant are so high that they feel compelled to close They are missing!

I'm sitting here enjoying the double shrimp entree. There aren't a lot of people in here, but the carry out orders seem to be coming in steadily. I am really enjoying my meal, and the service is good, even if the waitress is a little quiet and soft spoken. (I have a hearing issue.. I should have taken a picture before I started eating. The shrimp portion was generous, and I enjoy the flavor very much.

I've eaten here for about 15 years and it's always stayed the same. Go-to teriyaki style meals. Good egg rolls. Larry and crew are a local gem

The BEST Japanese food I ever had. The portion of food that I received was out of this world. The cashier was off the chain. I will definitely be back and tell all my family and friends! Thank you

I had an amazing meal here with a friend. The food was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. I was encouraged to take a picture of the Greek salad, which was both stunning and tasty. The staff were warm and friendly, providing excellent service. This was my first visit, but it certainly won’t be my last. I highly recommend dining at Philosophy for dinner.
