Bidra med feedbackI have considered phoning the venue about my/our experience. I am not sure however what could possibly be done to amend for how the evening transpired. Our server was extremely friendly. No complaints about her, only that she was absent MOST, if not ALL OF THE NIGHT. She was consumed with the responsibility of every single table in the restaurant. Not her fault. I did see a manager running food at one point, but he made it clear he was not doing any more than that when we asked for water and spoons. Instead, we had to wait for her. Each of us had pasta. It was over-boiled in every dish, and breaking into mush when I tried to twirl it onto my fork. Hence the request for spoons. Never have I eaten pasta with just a spoon. For $20-ish something per order, the charcuterie was no more than cheese and crackers and salami. When it was placed on the table, I heard an audible gasp from one of my guests. But the biggest issue of the evening was the check. I asked to have a copy of the itemized bill, however was told that was the copy I needed to sign and it stayed with the merchant. I signed it, but why could a duplicate not be re-printed for me to keep for my records? Our evening was shy of $400 for 3 people for bad food, bad service, and expensive cocktails. I live, as do my guests, in Mount Pleasant. We are locals. I cannot recommend.
Great meal and conveniently in our hotel. Inga was our server and she was wonderful !
High Tide boasts a comfortable, modern nautical atmosphere with a list of various menu items to serve most tastes. I ordered the Cajun Salmon Pasta. I took away two stars for the shrimp which was pretreated with preservatives making them chewy and tasteless. I also would have preferred this dish be served over cheesy grits (with a biscuit) rather than spaghetti, the salmon was delicious.
Waitress was attentive and provided excellent service.
We have a great experience , the food was excellent, we was happy with that!
