I love my Mexican food but the Chinese food dishes here are so delicious! I'm already getting hungry just thinking
I haven't been here since the old owners were still in operation. They were lovely people and the food was so good! Chinese isn't my go-to cuisine but I was feeling it today so I got the lo mein, orange chicken, and broccoli beef. To start, the portions are much smaller. Ok, inflation is affecting everyone and everything, I get it. But wow, the food is just NOT good. The noodles are flavorless and slimy, like they came out of premade package that was nuked in the microwave. The beef is chewy and also flavorless. The orange chicken is mostly very hard, over-fried batter that's really hard to chew and any meat inside has the texture of jerky. It's really hard to eat. The only thing I can actually taste would describe as edible is the broccoli, all five pieces of it. I'm really disappointed that this is the direction FlyHigh was taken in. (No fortune cookie, either.
I stopped by for food and the place was very hot with no food out. That was fine. I ordered and got my food in 5 minutes. I ordered orange chicken with fried rice and what I got was burnt crispy meat with beef (beef is not what I ordered). The chicken tasted like fried pork rinds and I wasnt sure what I was eating since I had gotten orange chicken that had no sauce and just looked like it was deep fried. My food was $9.30 and I paid $10. I was expecting my change but the person just said thank you and handed me my food.
Got teriyaki chicken and fried rice with orange chicken the chicken had 3 long strands of black hair in it and was so dry wasn't even edible this review was from 3 months ago haven't ate there since dont know if they got new cooks but the food is really good now
