Klua Sathorn Thai Restaurant

One of the highlights of our short stay in Castlemaine was definitely dining at this restaurant. It was recommended to us by locals multiple times, so we had to give it a try. We were initially surprised by the concept of choosing a pick-up time when ordering, but it actually made a lot of sense. When we arrived at our designated pick-up time, our order was ready and there was no need to wait in a crowded line to pay and pick up our food during peak dinner hours. It is worth noting that the prices are on the higher end, with our meal for two including two appetizers/snacks, two mains, a serving of steam rice, and one roti costing over $80. However, the quality of the food was exceptional, making the value for money subjective. Aside from the price, we would have rated this restaurant 4.5 out of 5 stars.

We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food and service at this restaurant, so much so that we ended up having dinner here two nights in a row. On both occasions, we sampled different dishes and were extremely pleased with the flavor and portion sizes. The sauces that accompanied the dishes were delicious and homemade, not just store-bought. We also appreciated the fact that the plates were warmed up before serving, showing great attention to detail.

Invited here for a wonderful surprise luncheon for a dear friend. Suprises all round! The food here was exquisite; with the best combination fried rice, delectable fried chicken ribs, rice krema black coffee with all round superb, friendly customer service. Definitely a place to consider for your next meal outing.
