Bidra med feedbackWent back after many years away and had all my memories shattered! Apparently it was the first day for most of the staff and it showed. Fundamental issues in service that restaurants far cheaper and with less reputation would get right. Food was simple but good however waiter had no idea what he was serving and therefore could not serve it to the right person. Wines in the wine card were not available and alternatives suggested not even from the same region. Final concern (if you ignore the large bill) was the filthy bathrooms with only loo paper to dry your hands and lots of flies.Manager is trying to fix things but it looks like a tough journey.... on a positive note the band was great but that is not what we went fir
The staff had no record of our reservation even though I could provide an email on my phone screen to suggest otherwise. There was no apology or recompense offered whatsoever and we were treated appallingly by very arrogant and unhelpful staff, including the manageress on duty at the time, who quite simply did not care one bit.I suggest you give this establishment a huge swerve!!!
Le Moulin is possibly the best destination for a Sunday brunch. The all inclusive buffet is not cheap but the experience is special and the food is excellent. There is a fresh open air atmosphere, surrounded by vegetation, for sunny days the open air eating with a boules pitch, and even a bouncy castle for the little ones. During the winter and spring the bouncy castle is indoors. There is a huge car park, extensive gardens and even when busy it is a relaxed and friendly environment. Evening is adult time, and this place never disappoints us. Great food, fine wines and a charming atmosphere.
I love this restaurant! We have been a few times now and each visit never disappoints. Sunday brunch is a particular favourite. The buffet selection is stunning and with extra entertainment for the children (in the form of a supervised large bouncy castle) away from the dining area. I can't fault it. The staff are friendly and attentive. And the food is always excellent. The evenings have a different feel with a relaxed lounge area for aperitif and drinks and a more sophisticated look to the fine dining restaurant. Their cuts of meat are only rivaled by those of The Beef Bar in Monaco and the wines are carefully selected to match this quality. We will be returning every chance we get.
First time in le Moulin de Mougins. We went there with my friend's family as we were looking for a location to celebrate my husbands 40th in July and we want a place we could book at least 50 people. We arrived and for 20 minutes no waiters or anyone to ask how does it work. Finally we get up and serve ourselves. About the food was nothing special. Very simple things, not bad but nothing wow. My eldest (7 years old) wasn't well so he had a tiny croque Monsieur and still water. Te other three kids ate few slices of ham and dessert. My friend and I, we were not drinking alcohol as we needed to drive. My husband and my friends husband had two glasses of rose each. When the bill came we paid 49 euros per adult even if we didn't drink at all and my 7yo was 29 euros !!!! Yes 29 euros for a quarter of a sandwich!!!!!! Other kids were 10 euros. I called the waiter and explained we didn't drink but specially very unhappy to pay for my son who had nothing 29 euros. It was unacceptable excessive. He said he didn't care and that was the price, didn't even try to hear me. I told him this was our first and last time. He laughed and he said he didn't care and so to please pay the bill. For sure I would never come back again and thankfully I still have time to look for another location for my husbands bday party. I would only recommend it for people who would like to get so drunk they can't even drive and so loud as the table beside. But as for the food it is definitely no worth it at all!!!
