Bidra med feedbackWe just ate up there and they had almost every table and booth except two dirty no one was cleaning the tables or booths and the service was terrible. We wanted a to go plate to put my grandson s food in and they only had small containers just big enough for a piece of cake . Also the lady overcharged us and was rude . The tables that were dirty when we went in were still dirty when we left. I use to like eating there but I'm not sure that I will go back again.
I love authentic Mexican food, having lived in Mexico, and experiencing so many fresh, traditional dishes, I have to say that this Hondumex has a really good staff and the food is very authentic. The tacos de carnitas, have the perfect flavor. The tacos al pastor is really good and sweet. The salsa is good and has a perfect balance, not to heavy on the the cilantro. It’s a great place to eat, and I eat there regularly, I’ve never had bad service, whether eat in or to go. Reminds me of my time in Mexico, which I absolutely adore. I enjoy being able to buy the produce items, and Oaxaca cheese, just like I’d get in Mexico. They have the frozen treats and bakery like the real thing too,

The carne asada tacos were poppin' with flavor. Most places manage to add a few spices to their meat while cooking, but Hondumex obviously marinated theirs for hours before grilling them. My tongue was absolutely delighted in all the flavors notes. It was so good that I bought the uncooked version in their grocery section and made it for dinner. It was just as good. Mmmmhhhhh. The rice and beans were okay. Nothing to brag about. And other member at the table had chicken fajitas, which they loved. Definitely, check this place out if you are in Morton.
Excellent restaurant with very flavorful menudo, sopes, and mole. It's connected to a AWESOME Latino stores, butcher/bakery. You can find everything you are looking for you can find with respect Latino fares. A must stop for anyone in the Morton area.
