Wow! What an incredible experience! This was my first time dining here, and I have to say the meal was fantastic! I ordered the sausage dish with green peppers and onions, along with a side of cookies, gravy, and sausage links. The vegetables were wonderfully crunchy and fresh. I'm a huge fan of cookies and gravy, and this dish was simply amazing! The American fries paired with the cookies and gravy were just as delicious. My wife ordered the steak and rated it a perfect 10. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. Our total bill came to $32.70. If you enjoy places like Sterling, Illinois' Mother Diner or Maple House, you will absolutely love this spot. Great food and excellent service!

The food was pretty good. It was served fast and hot. Burger and baked chicken sandwich are absolutely huge! Trash in the bathroom was overflowing on the floor. Our young waitress was attentive, but a few times. For example, when I asked where the bathroom was, she said so... you know... where it says RESTROOM...

Today, there were eight of us, and we received our hot, fresh, and delicious food in no time. The owners are incredibly friendly and dedicated, creating a warm atmosphere that makes you feel like part of the family.

The service was quick, and the restaurant was clean during my visit. The food was excellent! I ordered the full cookies and gravy and a side of orange juice, while my dad had the French toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Both meals were delicious, with generous portions full of flavor. The only critique I have is that the scrambled eggs resembled an omelet with additional ingredients, and they could have used some seasoning while cooking. Overall, everything was fantastic. I remember this place from when it used to be called The Red Apple, which was a big part of why I chose to visit. Those memories brought me back!
