Oven N Grill - Morley

LET ME EXPLAIN Dinner Set @oven and grill.To begin with we got the spicy soup which taste like one of those canned chunky beef or Irish stew(100%). I was like ok, I will pass it until I got my "fruit punch" drink. That was Sprite or lemonade mixed with preserved fruits. I said, "lets be patient and wait for the food." We ordered creamy fried rice with mushroom and seafood. It was like granny's meal when she was lazy to go and get all the ingredients for the meal. Absolute disaster. It was served in a thick salty butter and very little did I knew cream would be butter. Just when we thought that was it, we got our grill steak and fish with chips. It was steak and fish with chips far from being grilled. It tasted bit like oven heat steak and may be chef left it too long that it was burned. And the fish was from Fish and Chips. That would have been better though. Nothing like the photo on the menu, where the fish was supposed to be fresh and steamed and the steak was to be grilled. The 1 rating is for the humourous waitress. She was kinda good on rebuttals when I asked to keep my bill, she said she would. Lol

Varied menu, legit everything from steak and lobster to fried rice to French toast haha. It's not the type of venue I'd go to for surf n turf but we tried a few different things. I loved the crispy chili pepper squid and this was honestly one of the best versions I've had in Perth. Batter was light n crisp but a pretty small serve for $18. The noodles were alright but the mixed grill was a bit of an abomination of heavily salted cheap cuts of meats and even saltier pepper sauce. Good chips though. Food came out so within minutes of ordering.

Here for Fathers Day with the Family! Great restaurant. Good price with generous tasty food. Jasmine tea was nice, but would prefer tea leaves over tea bags. Sometimes service a little slow, but given its Fathers Day and the restaurant is new, it is good. Will come back for sure!

Poor cust service. Very poor.. asked about their specialty she replied everything special thats why they put it on the menu. Never explain about anything on the menu. Never come back for sure ????
