The dining experience was extremely unpleasant. The food was bland and lacking in freshness, with vegetables that were not appetizing. The dim sum lacked any flavor or filling. The entire meal was heavy with a corn flour texture that was unappetizing. The rice was tasteless and appeared to be boiled with nothing else added, instead of being fried as expected. The restaurant was dirty, only accepted cash, and did not provide any customer service. It seems they have lost sight of providing a quality meal to their customers.

This restaurant is fantastic for families - everyone loves it and the prices are reasonable. The take-out options are great, the place is clean, and the service is always excellent.

I got a horrible headache from the MSG they used in the food. When I asked for a vegetable fried rice without egg, they didn't make it the way I requested, resulting in a bland dish with only sweet and cashews providing any flavor. I requested a refund, but they refused. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant and do not recommend it to others.

After returning to ruby sun chinese for dinner, nothing had changed in almost five years. the dishes in the smorgasbord were delightful, but the facility was very simple and boring, the staff very black and the outside toilets left much to wish. it is a busy restaurant/exception, but I am astonished as they survive.

Had steak in blackbean sauce plus special fried rice. Disappointed with both. The first seemed stewed with oversoft sad vegetables; the rice more steamed and not the standard Chinese stirfry. Ate at a table outside in the wind as I did not know the inside...room was available as it had lights out. H'ever another couple came and sat in there and cook came and put on the light. The entry is quite dismal. The outside loo area needs a cleanup. This could be overlooked if the food was OK. Takeaway prices reasonable but would not want to be higher considering the quality. I really would have preferred to sit down and dine but did not know that was an option as that area appeared closed. Will not return.
