Bidra med feedbackMy family and I went to Subway in Elgin for lunch on Tuesday. We had to wait a few extra minutes in line because they were short-staffed. Despite the wait, we decided to stay because my kids were really craving Subway. The two employees on duty were working extremely hard, constantly changing gloves, managing online orders, and handling the increasing number of customers with a smile. My children were happy with their Subway lunches as well.
I arrived at the restaurant on Sunday after checking online that they were open until 9pm. I waited patiently in line until the customers in front of me were served, only to be informed that I was the last one they were serving. This was at 8:45pm and it would have only taken a few minutes to serve me before closing. When I asked why their online hours were incorrect, the manager simply blamed Covid and showed a poor attitude.
I went to the restaurant today and was very impressed with the way the staff member handled herself after being wrongly accused of sneezing into gloves. I personally witnessed that it did not happen, but she remained professional throughout. The food was great and the service was fast and pleasant.
Just visited and walked away. Member of staff sneezed on the top of her glove so I asked her to change her gloves, Instead of just changing them she went off on a rant walking away saying she didn't and said she wasn't dirty. Staff...apologised saying she had a bad day. Why argue when all she needed to do was change them. Will be reporting to head office. Discusting customer service.
Stood waiting and was completely ignored until another person walked up and was served. Very poor service. Gave up in disgust.
