The Seagate Bistro - MOONTA BAY

I stopped by for a late lunch after strolling around Moonta Bay and I'm glad I did. The location is excellent, with a beautiful view that adds to the dining experience. The service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive (possibly because it was a bit slow, so they weren't rushed). I ordered the crumbed garfish, fries, and a local craft beer and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It was one of the best fish and chips dishes I've had in South Australia, and reasonably priced too. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to others.

Came to dinner with friends on Tuesday night. the meals were generous, amazing quality and tasty. our group included children who were well looked after with their own menu. more amazing. we had such a great meal that we came back two days later. it is worth noting that the prospects are fabulous during the day from the restaurant.

We're here a few times now and we haven't been left off with the meal. we're coming back. my only disappointment was that they were closed on Monday of the long weekend.

Now known as sails is a cafe style eating with great view. there are seating in the indoor and outdoor areas. they have a good wine list with some beautiful weeping on the glass. Drinks are bought at the bar, like the meals. we enjoyed Gf-salt...and pfefferschopf at sails, which was tender and tasty. we have both ordered to go to head, my grill and my partner scattered. my grilled pfeife was over boiled and the gf version came with a very basic salate, at $36 a meal I was amazed. my partner batter was not easy and the fish was also slightly boiled over, he had chips (not great) and grundsalat. when the waitress asked how our meal was said, and we got a meal free. if it were a cheaper one, I probably wouldn't have said anything. personal friendly and efficient.

Awesome just awesome we went there for dinner it was rather busy. The staff were very friendly. We ordered our meals the kids meals came out first they were a good size too. (i would rather they all came out together). The kids also had...dessert pancakes with ice cream and maple syrup. But they were great then we got ours chicken parmis the best we've had so far. I also indulged in añ espresso martini. Yum. Will be going back next time we come. Highly recommend going there.
