Davey's Irish Pub - Montvale

We stopped here to eat because it was close to a prior appointment that afternoon in the neighborhood. Really delicious food, we tried the cajun shrimp appetizer, the fish and and chips, and the bangers and mash for dinner. Everything was first rate. Our server was great but we did have to wait a bit to get her attention. It didn't seem overly crowded but they may also be experiencing staff shortages as so many are these days. A little more room between the tables would have bumped the atmosphere rating to five stars. We could clearly hear the conversations at the tables around us. Overall we were happy with our visit and will definitely go back if we are in the area in the future.

Thanks to Davey’s for hosting our lacrosse team parents before a local game. We called in advance and spoke with Sarah. She arranged for an extra bartender/server to be on duty and they did not disappoint! Gus helped us hang our school flag and we had excellent service, good food and a wonderful environment to gather. Highly recommend for any casual gathering!

Very friendly and busy Irish pub. Seemed to be packed on a Wednesday night with locals at the bar and also in the two dining rooms. Pub food, pretty good. Excellent staff. Met with some friends to catch up and no one bothered us from 7pm to 11pm. Would go back....

Irish American Pub. Showed up around 8pm. Bar is completely packed. Barely was able to order a drink or get seat! Which was a stool next to the bar. So I can't comment on the food. Thankfully, I was finally able to order a drink! Got a IPA from Hackensack Brewing. It tasted basically like every single orange juicy tasting IPA. Nothing fab
