Really good and fresh food. Manager made sure that everything we ordered was guaranteed gluten free. We had a delicious gluten free rainbow roll delicious! Cute place inside. Gluten free friendly!!

My first experience at Sushi Monster was highly disappointing. Despite my initial excitement, the young woman who seated us displayed rudeness from the start--no greeting, coupled with an unpleasant facial expression. To add to the discomfort, we were handed a dirty napkin from her and had to request for a replacement. The wait for our food stretched to at least thirty minutes, only to be met with further disappointment. The fish lacked freshness, and the sushi rolls were poorly prepared--unclosed and messy in general. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the wait time. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Easily the best fish on Honolulu. Sake and blue fish don't even come close. We always get one of omakases and feel it is worth it. Cozy and intimate indoors, nice ambiance The rolls, in contrast to the omakases, are overpriced and in our experience not worth it.

Best friend and I came on a busy Friday evening, so we expected to wait especially since this is a compact casual sushi bar. There was an empty table for two so a staff member sat us down but then realized there was another party waiting before us so we had to leave the table. Eventually we were sat down and we ordered and the drinks, hot sake and tea came pretty quick. The food took a while and that was expected since they were busy and we ordered a lot. Everything was delicious. I recommend the toro, scallops and salmon. They gave us a green tea ice cream to share which was nice!

The food was delicious! Presentation was great. Generous portions. Service was excellent. Would recommend. Enjoyed dinner with friends. Definitely be coming back.
