Satay Brothers Resto 3721 Notre-dame

We went to dinner on Wednesday and the restaurant was very busy. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table, but it was worth it because the food was amazing as always. The service was great too. Our waiter had a great sense of humor which made our experience even more enjoyable. I thought I could handle the spiciness in the soup, but it ended up being too much for me. However, the flavors were so good that it made up for the lack of tolerance in my taste buds. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience.

When someone who grew up with the kitchen, I was not surpassed by their offered. the satay lacked spicing with a shallow erdnus sauce. the gado gado salat had fresh ingredients, but it was unfair with a tough dressing missing some tamarinde and sugar. the laksa was decent, although it was a diluted version of the real thing - although a nice touch with the Vietnamese mint and the sambal chili. but the crisp deco and ultra hipster bar vibe makes what is missing in the food department when it works for them. btw, there's no name sign out. it's just the word of the mouth. vegetarian options: gado gado salat

The lamb skewers are fatty and the laksa is not cooked well, with peeled prawns. However, the rolls and ribs are delicious, and the papaya salad is also tasty.

I recently dined at this restaurant with colleagues, and after enjoying a meal and a sake, my total bill came to $75. The service was good, scoring an 8 out of 10, as was the atmosphere at 8 out of 10. The food itself was a 7 out of 10. The restaurant was lively and beautifully laid out. The dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were either served piping hot or nicely chilled, which was great. The Thai Papaya salad had a good taste, although I believe it could have been marinated for a little longer to really bring out the full flavor. My favorite dishes were the seasoned chicken and the peanut sauce. I recommend trying Satat Brothers if you're looking for freshly prepared Asian-inspired cuisine. Don't be discouraged, they have a lot to offer.

Order, close your eyes, and you'll find yourself in the south east asie! I've never been disappointed, it's too good!
