Bidra med feedbackI was introduced to Tacos Frida many years ago by a colleague who raved about the low price of $2.50 per taco. At the time, the restaurant was tucked away in a small, minimally decorated space, but it served some of the best Mexican fare in the city with exceptional service. Upon visiting their new location on Notre Dame recently, I was pleased to find that they have maintained their quality and value. The new space is spacious and colorful, offering a beautiful selection of tacos including al pastor, Carnitas, Tingas cochinita pibil, and Cecinas. The tortilla soup and Cochinata tacos come highly recommended. The service was decent, and for takeout orders, they give you a pager to wait outside until your order is ready. The packaging for takeout orders during Covid times was well done. My only complaint is that I wish they still offered the option to order individual tacos, allowing for more variety in trying their delicious offerings.
This restaurant in Montreal is one of the top places for tacos! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and although it can get crowded, every dish on the menu is exceptional.
I love this place. We can eat real tacos in Montreal. Here you will find a delicious tortilla soup and pozole. Personal conversations Spanish so you don't have to worry about English or French.
I absolutely loved the food and service at this restaurant. We started off with some nachos and guacamole, which were fantastic. The Taco Nopale, with cactus and fish, was delicious. For dessert, we tried the flame, which was a pleasant surprise and incredibly tasty.
So to be fair, the restaurant doesn’t have their liquor license. There’s also not much ambiance to the place. So you kind of need drinks to make it more lively. However, the food was great. The carnitas was excellent and the pozole was some of...the best I’ve ever had. Service was mediocre. I will try this again in a few months.
