Aux deux Maries - Montréal

My friend and I stumbled upon this place when we were exploring Montreal. Although it was quiet the atmosphere was pleasant, the staff were friendly and the food was good

Aux deux Marie, à classic place in the Plateau, recovers under this new administration its heart. But now besides the excellent coffes, we find amazing biological teas and mint tea, delicious home made patisserie and more! The personel is courteous and everything combines to make a visit to Aux deux Marie a nice break. Did I say they have some books and at least one game on the back? A must in the Plateau!

You are greeted with a warm smile from Fatima, the new owner of this cafe. The muffins are home made and delicious. It was relaxing sitting outside watching the world go by as we tucked into muffins and tea in my case and coffee for my husband. If I lived closer I would be here most mornings chilling out. Two muffins, one herbal tea and a milky coffee came to 13 dollars incl tax etc.

Service is non-existent and we disturb them on Sunday afternoon. we ordered 2 large iced latte coffees and we received 2 petist ordinary iced coffees.

This was a good and quick lunch here. The waiter was very friendly. I had the soup of the day, which was a pea soup, and a piece of quiche with veggies. The soup was well prepared, the quiche did not have enough vegetables for my taste. Allover a nice cafe with outside and inside seating.
