Wayside Bakery Creamery - MONTPELIER

A little outdated but gives a good homey vibe. Waitress was a sweetheart. Very observant to our needs. Country fried steak was good, garlic green beans were delish. I got a beef burger and the onion rings were great! We are from Florida and would definitely come again when we visit!

I eat there often and can say it's the best food in the state. For over 100 years, Wayside has fed their customers with premium food, unique offerings, conveyed local charm and welcome to resident and visitor alike. As good as the food is and variety of specials, the price is consistently reasonable. The service is outstanding, servers and all staff being friendly and attentive. We repeat customers are made to feel practically like family which keeps us coming back.
