Ganzo - MONTOPOLI IN VAL D'ARNO

We ate here three times during our two weeks in Marti, firstly because it was the nearest restaurant and the subsequent times because we really enjoyed it. The food is generally good but the puddings were our real delight. The staff are very good; once we went when there was a wedding taking place in the restaurant and apart from not being able to sit outside there was almost no difference in the speed or efficiency of the service, most impressive! Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food, which is based on fresh, local produce. A particularly good example of this was the utterly delicious vege burger, which was filled with delicious char grilled courgettes, aubergines, tomatoes, peppers and onions.

We booked for 19:00, 12th April 2022, received confirmation back that they had received our booking. As traffic was busy, we set off in plenty of time, arriving at 18:56. After trying to find our way into restaurant (which advertised open from 18:30) , we saw the door to the kitchen so went to ask there. Someone then opened the main restaurant door, we said we had booked for 19:00, he said to wait until then and go and look at the lake. This we did, despite it being cold, returning to try to gain access at 19:05. Door still locked, asked at the kitchen again, lady didn’t speak English I tried to explain in Italian, but she didn’t understand and didn’t offer to get anyone. We left feeling extremely unimpressed at the rude service provided at this restaurant. Will not be recommending it to our many friends in the area.

Party for an 18th, very nice local with staff available. we took 2menu one for the guys with really good and delicious maxi burgers and a menu with first and second for adults as many qualities definitely try

Absolutely delicious restaurant! Everything we ordered was fantastic! The service was great, the food delicious, and the place charming!

All at the great service very kind and pizza environment very good suitable for families to young people and to all people who want to be in company and spend 2 hours without thoughts
