Buldogies - Montgomery

Never imagined a hotdog joint making it here, but Buldogies has great tasting food and deserve their shot at success. Very small, casual indoor diner with a huge selection of their signature hotdog configurations. I tried the classic Chicago dog and fries... very nicely done and it's a full on ample meal for a fair price. More than just hotdogs too! I hope Buldogies can hang on and do well here.

I'm big on supporting family owned businesses and add to that how amazing the food is, this place is beyond amazing. Im a big hot dog fan and James Coney Island and sonic just don't satisfy my cravings (especially when I have my hot dog pregnancy cravings). This restaurant was everything I wanted and more. You're not only getting amazing hot dogs but you're getting the best dessert you can come up with. I can't recommend this place enough. Even if you're not a big hot dog fan, you will be after eating here.

Is there a sixth star? I know crazy, right. I mean we are talking hotdogs and the like, but I just had the best damn hotdog of my life and I'm older than dirt! The staff here are super pleasant and equally busy as they are short handed like most. Exercise some patience but it will be more than worth it when your food arrives. Customers were friendly and struck up conversation while they waited, most raving about the food and portion size. I had the Jesse James hotdog and it's a moment I will remember, lol. First it is nestled in the lightest, slightly toasted bun that will exceed any hotdog bun you have had. I don't usually eat the bread but this was an exception. The dog itself is all beef and bigger than average. It's been grilled perfectly, heightening the flavors. The Jesse James is covered in finely diced crisp bacon, minced grilled onions and blue cheese crumbles topped with a little drizzle of Frank's hot sauce, divine! I accompanied mine with sweet potato tater tots and the girl who never had more than a bite of her sides, finished them all. We also had a hand dipped corn dog and the buldogie fries, curls of crisp deliciousness. I watched my neighboring diner top off their meal with a deep fried banana split and based on looks and moans alone, know that ordering one of those requires another trip!

Amazing food! Couldnt be happier! It was absolutely delicious and is definitely worth at one try but you'll come back for sure!

When we first arrived I was skeptical. But , man was I wrong. The dogs are amazing and big . I'm usually a 3 hotdog kind of guy . I assure you , one is plenty. Best dog I've ever had , hands down. Service was great and the staff very friendly. I live in Dallas. But , I will visit this place whenever I am down here again.
