Bidra med feedbackA hidden gem of the natives. we had lunch. good eating to affordable trips. they prefer to bake rather than to ride a stone-bard on our request. the artichoke enchilda is a unique and tasty dish. salat bar gets better. full bar with modest beer and wine selection and cocktails. need to expand dessert selection. easy parking in the opposite to the nearby del monte center. close to hwy 1. specializes in dinner shows. a greed next to monterey restaurants. I hope that the change and improvement will continue.
The restaurant is located in a hotel. the personal was friendly, but could not get our orders right. they did not make our drinks order right either. eating was good, but not writing home. they had an salatable which was good, which is not so common today, so they also cost it. for me it is a single and done event.
The menu is very small and literally the only Veg option is salatable. I stayed in the hotel and would like to go down to the restaurant, but with just a few more options would have been better.
I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, possibly even decades. (Crazy Horse has now become Urban Kitchen). The interior hasn't been updated much, so it has a dated feel. However, the great thing about this place is that for $19, you can enjoy local, seasonal, and organic vegetables. They claim to offer these options, although I can only verify the freshness of the vegetables. You can enjoy them raw and pure, such as mushrooms, lettuce, and tomatoes. If you're looking for hot dishes, mock meat, or other non-vegetable options, this may not be the place for you.
The menu is extremely limited with only the salad bar as the vegetarian option. As a guest at the hotel, I would have preferred a few more choices at the restaurant downstairs.
