Mr. Obanyaki - Monterey Park

Mr. Obanyaki is a family owned establishment in the city of Monterey Park serving refreshing drinks like cold drinks and also hot drinks and they serve ice cream. They are well know make these Japanese style it's like a sandwich comes with filling there's nine flavors choose from. When you enter at Mr Obanyaki you can sell the aroma from each are made to order it's mind blowing everything is made fresh and warn when you get. They also have deal you can get a drink and a sandwich the choice of filling and choice of ice cream flavor.The waiting time is about 15 minutes it's worth it. They use good quality ice cream from Fosselman ice cream from the city of Alhambra their ice cream is the best. My wife and I got two drinks two sandwich and ice cream to see why so many are coming to Mr.Obanyaki. We both got the Ube Horchata they were so good we enjoy very much then we pick our two sandwich and ice cream the flavor we got in our sandwich was custard and Nutella they both good.The ube ice cream was mazing delicious we both enjoy ube very much it's one our favorite. Everybody from Mr.Obanyaki they were very nice and helpful with our order. We need to come back again with our friends

Great place for the kids and great ice cream combos friendly service great little ambiance for the kids. The set up is very unique a small treat a pancake type with ice cream from a great place Fosselman's ice cream so you know it's great! Can't wait to bring the kids back nice little mama poppa spot for ice cream

I got the black sesame, taro, and matcha coconut. All were very delicious. These are much bigger than the ones outside Ranch 99 from my childhood. Best of all, they are FRESH. So tasty when it's hot and right out of the pan. They do take 15 min to make, but it's worth it since it's fresh and toasty. Recommend ordering ahead of time. Went in December, and their heater was working quite well. So if your place doesn't have heat, come here! :

Food is made fresh to order so be patient! Better to eat it fresh but still taste good the next day after reheating with a toaster oven.
