Halcyon - Montclair

Decent food in a vibrant atmosphere. Service was very attentive and quick. But we could still enjoy the dinner at our pace. Flat bread was nice and fresh. Coconut shrimp roll was decent, and calamari could use some love. Halcyon Tacos were good, too. Though nothing wowed us, we still had a pleasant evening with no complaints. We visited this place for the first time for brunch and it was such an amazing experience!! The hosts were very welcoming and the server Liz was amazing. I loved loved loved this little gem in Montclair! The food was delicious and the entertainment in the upstairs lounge was fantastic! Nice crowd pleasant service really great! Def going back!

I come here often for the awesome menu. The seafood is always super FRESH! Love the King Crab Legs and grilled oysters!! Love the fact they have such a wide range of dishes, including sushi, which is amazing!!! The service manager never misses a moment to show up as a rockstar, and the entire staff is top tier. They have an awesome burger and often deliver great seasonal specials, i.e., Watermelon gazpacho. Love the ambiance of the back patio and outdoor seating during the warm months, but the dining room is just as beautiful.
