Bidra med feedbackThe hotel has seen better days. The lamps are falling apart, and many amenities have either been reduced or eliminated entirely. There are blown light bulbs, loose tiles in the bathroom, and most of the bathroom handrails are either damaged or missing. The wallpaper is peeling, and the staff turnover is high, making it difficult to find reliable service. I recommend saving your money and opting for the Hilton Garden Inn or the Hamilton, both of which are less than two miles away and offer a better experience.
My biggest complaint, and what ultimately ruined my experience, was the pool situation. I knew the pool closed at 9:30 (since I inquired about it), but while we were playing with my daughter and other families were enjoying the pool, they suddenly turned off the lights without warning. There was no staff member present to ensure everyone had exited. It was chaos, with frantic mothers using their phone flashlights to locate their kids in the dark water. There were no prominent signs indicating that the lights would go out at 9:30, which made the situation even more alarming. It could have turned dangerous, especially for elderly swimmers or small children. I approached the front desk to express my concerns to a rather dismissive staff member who shrugged it off, saying, "That's just how it is." I explained the seriousness of the situation, but she seemed indifferent. I’m not one to cause a fuss, but this was a genuinely alarming and unsafe experience. Many mothers were left anxiously watching their little ones, and suddenly, no one could see what was happening. Based on all of this, I wouldn’t consider returning to this hotel.
We hosted an event in the ballroom this month, and I must say, Naji Saliba, the sales director, was outstanding. He was incredibly warm and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure the evening was truly magical. The entire staff at DoubleTree was also very helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful experience there.
I travel for business most weeks of the month. I stay in mostly Hilton properties. This one was very concerning. Unfortunately, my first experience with the front desk staff was poor and it just got worse from there. I asked if my room was ready at 2 pm and without looking anything up, they just said “no, check in is at 3 pm.” When I finally got to my room, it smelled musty, the cabinet that housed the fridge had the door falling off, the sink wouldn’t drain, the hot water faucet didn’t work and there was a black mark in the bottom of the toilet. Also, there was no chair for the desk. I didn’t sleep because of noise so I just left at 6 am the next day so I didn’t have to stay any longer. This property needs work. I hope my review helps.
Rooms need updating, breakfast wasn't open at 6 am during the week. Air seems stale in the hallways so ventilation needs to be better. Near access to highways so its a good thing. Quiet so you're not hearing traffic
