The Cookout - Monroe

This is a locally owned grill (not the big franchise that's popular in other states). Simple menu with quick options, and more choices than I exoected. The customer service was fantastic. The food was good. I ordered chicken wings and onion rings. Both were tasty and hot. My daughter ordered a chicken strip sandwich. She didn't like the chicken strips but the fries were really good. Only negative I found was that the dining room had some seats and tables noticeably in need ofrepair. We will eat from here again but will probably do a to-go order.

Great customer service. Manager came out and greeted us then introduced us to his famous hot wings. Food came out quickly and hot. If you are in Monroe come check them out.

Local, black-owned business. Wait time can be ridiculously long, but it's worth it. Order ahead. Food is awesome. Kool-aid is red, sweet, and yummy!

I love, love, love the signature wings. They are delicious EVERY time I go.

The food is good but the wait time is ridiculous. I waited for my food for about over an hour one time and it seem like anytime I have ordered anything it always take entirely to long even if it’ll tell me on the app that the food is ready.
