Nostrano Italian Eatery - Monroe

All I can say is OH WOW!!! They make their own pasta, cavatelli and gnocchi.... absolutely delish!! It's my mom's birthday today... mama is from Italy and very picky about her Italian food (especially sauce! and espresso. She was floored with both.... from salad to dessert the best food around.... Thank you for being here and don't EVER leave!!! :

This is a fine restaurant with great food and service for a reasonable price. I'm going back.

Visited not too long ago while on vacation. Our meal was good and my girlfriend enjoyed her espresso martinis. The meatballs were different but are yummy and definitely worth trying! The garlic bread wasn’t anything special, but get a side of marinara sauce for dipping and you’re set. The penne aka vodka was nice and creamy. Unfortunately the cacio e pepe daily special was served cold and you could barely taste any pepper. The fried mozzerrla ball didn’t really fit in either. The staff was very friendly with handling this though and comped the entree. Besides the cacio e pepe, I would give this place another chance.

The food was amazing and the service was excellent! Especially for a Sunday.
