We ate inside great friendly service lovely food fish chips and mushy peas plenty of room in the seated area.

Cooked fresh to order, crispy batter and good chips. I love good fish and chips but am usually disappointed. We will go back. Nothing else to say!

Good chip bar ..no greasy chips..light batter on fish..cracking coleslaw..freindly and polite staff..attentive ..good place in town to stop for chips..etc..

This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy a meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, serving us our food promptly. I ordered fish and chips with chicken nuggets, which were delicious and definitely worth the wait.

I went to a restaurant yesterday to get fish and chips. The server was very friendly, but I couldn't help but notice that she kept checking the temperature of the fish by pulling it out of the fryer three times. The chips were good, but the fish was terrible! It was not fresh and the batter was overly thick and undercooked. I had high expectations since I had eaten here before, but I was extremely disappointed. The fish looked grey instead of white, and I suspect it was frozen. The uncooked batter was unacceptable, as it seemed like just a clump of flour in the end. I would give it a 1-star rating out of 5, but had to add one star to leave a review. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. Paying nearly 15 pounds for chicken and chips and fish and chips, I expected much better quality. I will not be returning, and I suggest others do the same. The excessive checking of the fish's temperature three times was unnecessary.
