Brecks Station - Moncks Corner

Service was ok.. Food was overly priced!! Ordered steak and it wasn't the size we ordered! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Brecks was having a bad evening. Apparently, there was only 1 waitress who was completely overwhelmed. She asked for our drink order 3 times and forget every time. The table next to us had been there long before we arrived and had no drinks and had not ordered. There were maybe 2 or 3 couples in the restaurant. 1 walked out. We ordered our food several times, but it never went to the kitchen. Finally, the manager arrived. When we DID get food, it was someone else's order. We agreed to take it. That was close to 1.5 hours. The food, however, was delicious! My husband ended up with a sirloin steak and it was perfect. I landed with the seafood platter. Again, delicious; best fish and prawns I've had in a while. Don't write them off. It was just a bad day where most of the staff called out. We'll go back, and we recommend you give it a try! Sat in the dark until about 4th request that overhead lights be turned on, told they didn't know if they knew how, lights finally came on as all were using phone flashlights to see their food. Great local restaurant. Kids eat free on Tuesdays which is nice. We'll be back! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Arrived at monks corner location because online they say they are open we arrive and noone is there. So we decide to call rivers ave location and see if they were open a woman answered and told me yes they were open , we arrive open the door and waitress says we are closed. Very disappointed
