Beautiful cozy atmosphere with open fire and the ales are in great condition. excellent service as usual.

We had lunches in the running horse and couldn't mistake it, most likely the most beautiful pub fry dinner I've ever had. great service, nice staff and very reasonable prices we will be back!

Good food, good beer, friendly staff. it and beer garden in the sun can not be mistaken, happiness

Traditional pub, not spoilt by modern planners. Not the best choice of beer, but the Shepherd Neames Spitfire always goes down well.

I 've always loved this place... I used to go there a lot in th late 1980s and through th early 1990s... I guess its because you feel that you 're back in another time.. As the great bard Mr Zimmerman once said , In this world of fibreglass , I 'm searching for a gem. They say it 's been there since 1403... I don 't know but it must have a load of stories to tell...
