Ciauru Anticu - Modica

Wonderful service , abit difficult to find . We were suggested to o have a rustico platter as starter, typical modican food, very tasty. As main course the lovely waitress suggested rhe scottana and it was amazing. Desserts were very good. Very good food for the price paid.

We found this trattoria quite by accident whilst looking for another restaurant that was recommended to us, so glad we never made any further as ciauru anticu was absolutely perfect family run local rustic homemade delicious food and very very good local house wine. On our first visit, yes we def went back we both chose pizza which we could easily have shared one instead of the two we ordered and some local white wine which I have to say was the best local wine I've ever had. On our second visit for lunch we both ordered pasta. Again this did not disappoint and after I had the best ever panda cotta, the service is very friendly and we would highly recommend a visit to this great value little place
