Bidra med feedbackThe atmosphere was great! Our server was attentive and sweet. My food was ok, but I only had the brioche French toast and deviled eggs. My brother had the shrimp and grits and he enjoyed them. The mimosas were just right!
This is a wonderful place to go for a big and delicious breakfast! It might be busy on the weekend since they are popular. I really like all their good inlets. You can also get good basic scrambled eggs and bacon. The sweet items like pancakes and French toast are also good. They have plenty of coffee and juice. The staff is nice and efficient and this place feels clean and safe to enjoy dine in.
Save yourself sometime and money. We arrived at 1025 and waited a few mins for the hostess to turn around, she seemed busy with takeout orders. We eventually got on the wait list, with 15-20 min wait. During the wait, a few spots opened at the bar, we sat down, only to be told there was a waitlist for the bar. While waiting were noticed there were 9 open tables. 15-20 mins came and went. 30 mins after checking in, we get seated. We walked right past the still empty bar seats to our table. We were sat across from another family who was sat 15 mins earlier and was still waiting on thier food. We order drinks and placed out order. And then we waited. And waited, and waited. The family next to us, finally started to get thier food around the 40 min mark. Over cooked breakfast meats came out first. Then cold mains. They sent the food back. Ours then showed up at the 40 mins mark. I ordered the American Breakfast and was underwhelmed immediately. The eggs were swimming in the oil/butter they cooked them in. Bacon was hard, a single tiny sausage link, a weird tasting biscuit, and some unseasoned potatoes. My wife got the chicken florientine benedict, the grilled chicken was what appeared to be chicken chunks. The worst part was they completely forgot her poached eggs! It's a benedict, that is one of the main components! Paid our bill and got out of there after 1.5 hours! Oh, and the bar seats were still empty when we left. Smdh Plenty of other options to choose from. Strike this place from your list.
The bacon, spinach, and tomato omelette was very good. The pineapple mimosa was just right. The side of potatoes was good. The staff was very fast and friendly. I didn't feel rushed.
Brick and Spoon has the best **** Mary mix I've had in a long time!! I buy bottles for homemade Mary's regularly... the different Benedicts are fabulous and the deviled on the Bayou appetizer is our favorite! Service could be better, but everyone at this location is nice enough.. this particular visit, the chef was running food to the tables, he was working hard to keep guests happy.. we will always go back
