We mainly cooked our own food at the campsite but treated ourself to tea here and it was amazing.Surprisingly good vegetarian options too and the steak was perfect. We sat outside and it was lovely and sunny with friendly and helpful staff who translated the menu to English for us
One of the best steaks we have ever had! The quality of the produce speaks for itself. We chose the Ribeye & Fillet steak, both were cooked to perfection. The meat was so tender you could have cut it with a butter knife -absolutely delicious. So to was the dessert of apple rings in a crispy doughnut mixture with cream & ice cream. An excellent Merlot red wine complimented the meal. The service was professional and very amicable making it a most enjoyable evening. If you want a special memorable meal eat here. We were so impressed we have booked in for tomorrow night.
We hadn't planned to come to this restaurant but in finding most other places closed, we came across it by chance and are so glad that we did. Not speaking German, we were concerned that there were no translations on the menu but the chef spoke superb English and was so helpful in explaining to us what was in each dish. The waitress was also really friendly and was happy to speak English with us. My husband had a perfectly cooked T-bone steak and I had the wild garlic and prawn risotto which was delicious. The food was beautifully presented and the starter of sweet potato and chilli soup looked and tasted great. The restaurant has only been open since December so may not have many reviews but we would certainly recommend it. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and prices very reasonable.
