Brunnsteinhutte Alpenvereinshutte

That is a true mountain hut. only dormitory and a bathroom outside. it was all very clean and the family ran it really nice. the alke was great. eating is traditional hiker tariff. take the path that dug the forest. it's pretty and not difficult. there are many more difficult ways close.

The journey worth it. it will take hours to walk from the middle of the forest, but the food and the intention is worth it!

The restaurant was closed when I was there, but it does not play any role when they serve kuhpatties because the hike up is amazing. we have a hiking map from the tourist info center in the middle of the forest if you want to go to get one, it is the...best hiking map/systems I was. They could wander for months and not get lost. we led the way to which they led over the bridge of the ladder. the walk including the walk from the city was about hours in a slow pace. we came down where we needed about a few minutes.

The walk over the ladder to the fountain hatte is a very beautiful experience. from the hut they have beautiful possibilities to go further to the top of the fountain stone or further advanced away like heinrich noe klettersteig and Mittewalder höhenwg. the hut is very rustic with good eating, beautiful beer and a fantastic view. can be strongly recommended.

The Alpenvereinshutte and the Brunnsteinhutte are different alpine huts near Mittenwald. The Alpenvereinshutte takes hours minutes to walk to on a forestry road, which is quite steep in some places. There are lovely views of the Wetterstein and Zugspitze mountain ranges on...the walk. A lovely alternative return is through the Jagersteig, which is a woodland path, passing many waterfalls. The apple cake and coffee at the hut was very tasty and good value. Meals were also available.
