The Trough - Missoula

We discovered this place totally by accident--thought it was only a gas station in an out-of-the-way area of Missoula. What a pleasant surprise to find a unique market, sandwich shop and excellent restaurant. We had a delicious breakfast with great table service. They also serve lunch and dinner and offer hamburgers cooked-to-order which is exceptional. Highly recommend.

This is such a hidden gem! They have good sandwiches, take and bake items, and the best milkshakes in town, made from big dipper ice cream, salted caramel is my favorite!

Love having a place right in the neighborhood which has some incredible food! We love the Clam Chowder and the garlic bread is out of this world! The staff is awesome! So welcoming and super friendly!! As someone who grew up in Target Range and went to 'The Dairy ' after school, I love how this place has grown with the neighborhood and how it honors its legacy!

Not only did lunch look fantastic, it tasted incredible! I had the pulled pork and OMG! ... ‘twas finger lickin’ good! And as for the service; it was prompt and very friendly. Thank you, The Trough. We’ll be back!
