Kobe Seafood Steak House - Missoula

The first time we walked in here, we ended up walking out. Service was horrible, and there was a foul smell coming from what I assume was the bathrooms. We gave it a second chance, and I am glad we did. The food is excellent, the sushi is great, and it's a much better value than some other places locally. My biggest gripe is the still the service. Sometimes it is great, other times, not so much. Some staff really need to learn the menu, and really need to work on their customer service abilities. This is more so on the sit down side of things and not the hibachi.

Avoid. Waited 30 minutes and were assured a table. Sat at the bar and we’re not offered service. Should have seen it coming. Watched hostess seat a group that arrived after my family. Hostess offered to seat us at a table with no chef. Said it would be 10 minutes then confessed it would be longer because the cook hadn’t arrived. Place seemed unclean, too brightly lit and very over priced. When I expressed my disappointment the hostess waved and said “don’t come back.”

I had the worst experience here.First our server gives us salads with the wrong dressing. Takes down our teppan order incorrectly, so the chef is cooking our meal wrong. They never refill our water glasses, the whole time. They dont have any helpers clearing dirty plates. She never brings me my fork. I literally had to go up to her to cash my ticket. And get my water filled. The show was okay. The chef was not audible and not very enthusiastic. The veggies were undercooked. The rice was burnt. The meat was not seasoned well. I was very upset with my experience here. Also one of the other chefs is like inappropriately touching, grabbing, hugging, standing behind children at all of his shows. I've been here multiple times while he is out doing a cooking show. I would watch out for him, he gives molester/pedaphile feeling. (All the other chefs seem professional) but I would not want him interacting/touching my child.

This restaurant was very fun to eat at. The cook we had was very funny and I am happy I came. The food was delicious and the people who weren't serving us were very kind to other customers. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves funny things and delectable food made in front of you! You have to try this restaurant at least once in your life.

We love Kobe! Always going for the great sushi. Avacodo bomb and jalapeño poppers are really special. The fried rice is also really good. No res needed and is consistently good, quality food and the price matches what you get in my opinion.Food: 5/5
