Phoenix is an often overlooked and misunderstood little restaurant. You won't get the best of the best Chinese food here but what you get is the best cost to quality and quantity ratio in Mississauga. Food isn't pretty or instagrammable but as someone who's family owns 2 cha chan tengs in Mong Kok for generations, it gets the job done better than any other in Mississauga. I would recommend their rice noodle brisket soup, any of their daily specials and cantonese fried noodles sans MSG. I've gone for over 15 years and it has been consistently not bad.

I have been going to this restaurant for more than 15 years. I have never been disappointed. This isn't a fancy place so don't have high expectations here. If you compare this place with other HK style fast food restaurants, I would rank this place near the top. I recommend the daily specials because it comes with a soup, dinner roll, a tea, and entree for $10.95. In recent years, they have been slowly raising their prices but the food is descent so I don't mind. When this place gets packed, expect the food to come out slower. I went there recently and it was just my family and this other couple at the restaurant. Our food came rather quickly right after ordering. If you go there after 9pm, they have a evening menu with cheaper prices.

1. Hot dogs are not considered "breakfast sausages." 2. Instant coffee is not acceptable in a restaurant...ever. 3. Simple dishes served poorly have no value, even at low prices. We will not return.

I used to come here a lot, because of the excellent service and quality of food. However, it has gotten downhill a bit on both, plus the prices where higher with smaller portion of food. You can still go during the hours of 3:30 to 5, or after 9 PM, where they have special menus which you will get the most value for your money.
