Kage Restobar - Mississauga

This place is not disappointed. Great food. Surprising location. Custom server is excellent. This new one was okay, but not the same. Overall great time with friends on Thursday for a cuckoo.

The food had very interesting aromas, and the kitchen showed a lot of depth in the dish. The selections were the Kage Ceviche, Beef tataki and Truffle Fried Rice. Every court really wore, but as I was fed by myself. I want each court to come out one by one. I would definitely recommend Kage until the menu prices are pending, which is shown in my bill.

Although the menu was interesting, the execution was far from satisfactory and the dishes we tried were average and did not correspond to expectations. The Keviche was not authentic Peruvian, Oktopus was hard, Steak was chewing. Great service and beautiful ambience, but would not recommend for food.

The food was amazing! Such detail which made the experience true and authentic. However, I would have liked to have seen more Peruvian highlights in the menu as more Japanese/Peruvian fusion. :

A nice mix of Peruvian-Japanese fusion. I would say it leans a bit more on the Japanese side, but the Peruvian dishes were good (ceviche, etc). I would love to see more Peruvian ingredients (although understandably they are more difficult to acquire).
