El Rancho Viejo Mishawaka

Excellent! I was reminded of mom and pop taquorias in Eagle Pass and Del Rio, Texas.The Carne Asada Tacos with Cilantro and Coriander and Onion were exceptional!

The atmosphere and art inside was amazing and the staff friendly... but the food was deplorable. My husband got a quesadilla and I got the Pollo Loco. The Quesadilla was tiny and mushy and my Pollo Loco looked as if someone had the Hershey squirts with a tinge of blood in it. The taste was questionable at best. For the price we paid, $35) it was disappointing and nearly killed me when I threw it in the trash.Never again.

Great fajitas. Staff was accommodating when we arrived shortly before closing time.

The food was good, but the portion sizes were surprisingly small. We couldn't believe how tiny they were, as if I had ordered from the kids' menu!

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Just make sure to clearly communicate your order to the waiter or waitress. Overall, a very nice experience!
