Golden - Miri

A restaurant at Gloria Hotel, I came here on a recommendation for Chinese style vegetarian cuisine. It is a formal sit down restaurant that actually had beautiful vegetarian and meat-based menu elements. While some of the dishes did not seem to fill, there are bean curd-based noodle dishes that are exceptionally dense. They will fill and feel satisfied. If you are an Ex-Pat, you should be careful when it is wet outside because the rain tends to make the stone tile that is so popular in this region is very slick. The angles to the stairs cannot be what you are used to take your time. If you are at a party, you can borrow a screen to keep your group dry and return.

Old school Cantonese style restaurant. Simple and yet really well prepared tastily. Can’t go wrong with all the dishes. Just that would expect bigger portion for the price but overall still great for day to day family meals
