Burger King - Mint Hill

A year ago, I would have considered this place one of the best in the area. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. I waited a solid minute just to place my order, which was frustrating enough on its own. Personal questions from the staff felt unnecessary. The cashier seemed distracted, chatting to someone while I stood there waiting. When I mentioned my presence, she replied curtly that she was busy. There was a noticeable lack of professionalism, and the management also seemed preoccupied and unresponsive. When I was finally attended to, the young lady who had been idle showed great enthusiasm while taking my order. At that point, I decided to leave. It's disappointing to see how much this place has declined.

This Burger King can be unpredictable. The food is great at times, but not always. However, the service is consistently friendly.

I’m giving this restaurant a 2-star rating because the food is good. However, the service from one particular staff member was absolutely terrible. It’s really disappointing. I was having a lovely morning when I ordered a combo meal and then requested two plain cheese croissants. She tried to charge me $6 just for the bread and cheese. After asking several times if that was really the only way to ring it up, she finally agreed to process it as separate items, and it turned out to be just $1.39 for each croissant. Can you see the difference? She seemed really frustrated and even told the kitchen staff that it was a “stupid order.” It’s sad for her because it didn’t cost her anything, and she got upset over something so trivial.

I had an awful experience with the drive-thru service. The young woman on duty had the worst attitude I could imagine. When I spoke to a supervisor, he apologized and mentioned that they were overwhelmed. I expressed that rudeness is never acceptable. Meanwhile, she was rolling her eyes behind his back while he spoke to us. Can we really trust someone like that with our food? I won’t be returning.

I always enjoy a quick and pleasant experience at this restaurant. The food is consistently excellent, and I make it a priority to visit at least once a week for my Cheeseburg Monger.
