We wanted to try this incarnation of the Indian restaurant at this point. The place looks dingy and dirty from the outside and inside. Three waiters work, two very new (first day). They were very helpful, but the veteran waitress could not describe any items, could only read the menu to us! She said she hadn't tried this special court no apology for a bad customer service. The biryani (the dish the restaurant is named! was simply rice, spices and small chicken pieces. It's pretty bad when the new waiter describes what is really biryani, and then we have to look at the rice pilaf on our plate! Many other better Indian restaurants in the area will not go back.

I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of our food, but disappointed by the service. If I'm back in the neighborhood with a desire for Indian food, I'll probably order my food to go.

Everything we have tried here has been great. We have been here also for the buffet and enjoyed that also.
